Explore the beautiful natural views from the Middle Atlas to the Desert, and spend the most fascinating evening in the middle of the dunes.

Starting at 8h00 and ending around 17h00 on the second day.

Our team will come to escort you to begin the tour at 8h00 from your accommodation. This marks this exciting adventure’s beginning, and one of the main first stops on the way will be the city of Ifrane; best known as the “Switzerland of Morocco”. Afterwards, we’ll continue our adventure to the most anticipated stop of “Azrou”; a Cedar forest that houses thousands of monkeys.
We’ll continue our drive while appreciating the panoramic views we pass through on the road until we reach Midelt and take a short break for lunch. Once finished, we’ll head back on the road through beautiful forests, springs, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as we descend towards the Sahara desert.
This drive will include several short stops for resting and taking pictures at panoramic views that overlook the huge oasis of palm trees. Arrival at Merzouga will be around 17h00 where you’ll find your guide and camels waiting for you after your rest to begin your camel trekking adventure across the sandy dunes of the Erg-Chebbi and arrive just in time to watch the sunset.
After around an hour of trekking, we’ll head towards the desert camp to spend the night in your Berber tent after you freshen up and get ready for dinner.
During dinner, we’ll get to enjoy some Saharan Folklore music at the campfire under the shining stars and end the day.
After you wake early in the morning, you’ll get the opportunity to take a stroll over the sand dunes and watch the sunrise just behind the Algerian border, which is about 50 kilometers away from Merzouga.
After you get ready and finish breakfast, you’ll go back on the camel ride to reach the vehicle. At this point, you can make a request to do some sandboarding before leaving.
We’ll leave towards Rissani and have a quick tour around its historical monuments and lively souks. Our drive will take us back to Fes including some stops for lunch and rest and finally conclude your trip with us.
